SOULSONIC #1: Lucid Lucia ft. Prisca Agnes Nishimwe (late night show) + Dj's Boats & Luccatoni
Soulsonic Socialcall is niet je zoveelste conference-call, maar een uitnodiging aan eenieder die niet terugschrikt voor drums, snaren, blazers of vocale en verbale veruitwendigingen van de ziel!
Voor zij die graag dansend aan ritmedeling doen, openen we 17 maart de vloer terwijl Lucid Lucia de zaal vult met inheemse exotische klanken. Als special-guest nemen ze de prachtige Prisca Agnes met haar dito stem mee, terwijl Mr Freeze het gehele spektakel bedekt met een voile van vloeibaar strooilicht.
Luccatoni en DJ Boats houden de dansvloer draaiende en wie weet worden ook zij verrast door wat de nacht nog in petto heeft.....
Denk soul, voel funk, hoor grooves en blijf jazzy.

Born from the ashes of jazz & funk outfit BRZZVLL, Lucid Lucia were founded by saxophonist Vincent Brijs, a household name in Antwerp and the Belgian jazz scene.
To the present day Lucid Lucia marks a brighter, clearer sound for the sextet. Consisting of Vincent Brijs: saxophones, Bart Borremans: saxophones, Stijn Cools: drums, Dries Laheye: bass, Dries Verhulst: guitar, Jan Willems: keys and James Williams: drums and percussion, they have honed their skills performing with numerous artists from home and around the world including Ursula Rucker, Joseph Bowie (Defunkt), Amir Sulaiman, Anthony Joseph, Zena Edwards, Ayanna Witter Johnson, Baloji, Mo & Grazz, Kain the Poet (The Last Poets), Marie Daulne, Dizzy Madjeku, Ida Nielsen and many others.
