Which art trends inspire your current work?
Our work draws from pop culture, mass culture, digital culture, and online communities. We are particularly interested in phenomena such as 2010s Tumblr aesthetics, internet memes, collectible figurine culture, and contemporary approaches to mental health. Rather than simply appropriating the visual codes of these cultural trends, our practice seeks to create artistic frameworks that engage with them in a thoughtful and meaningful way.

How do you collaborate with other artists?
Our collaboration began with a desire to bring our respective practices into dialogue, recognizing the affinities between the cultural trends and visual languages they engage with. Within our collective methodology, we aim to pool our technical expertise as well as our conceptual approaches, allowing them to inform one another in the service of a richer, more layered project.

How does your work comment on current social or political issues?
By engaging with forms of popular culture that are often relegated to the status of "subculture" through an elitist conception of contemporary art, we seek to expose the mechanisms of cultural hierarchy. How are these hierarchies produced? By whom? And for whom?Mental health, popular culture, and mass consumption function as lenses through which contemporary class struggles become visible.
