RICCARDO SINIGAGLIA (it)
Born in Arona in 1953, Sinigaglia, both architect and musician, teaches electronic music at Milan Conservatory where he also studied during the 70's. His work is based on modes, meaning tone, pythagorean scales and complex polyrhythmics. Sinigaglia is also deeply involved in ethno musicology; In the 80's he founded Futuro Antico with Walter Maioli and Gabin Dabiré, a cross between electronic and etno shamanic music. In 1985 he and Mario Canali started to work with digital systems and so Correnti Magnetiche came to light, creating audio-visual compositions, producing videotapes, installations and live-electronic concerts.

FIA FIELL (au)
real name: Carolyn Schofield, an artist with Vietnamese-Australian ancestry hailing from Melbourne. Her live performances and recordings involve multiple synths played and processed in real time to create hauntingly ethereal, unsettling, and subtly-shifting meditative worlds. Schofield combines her profound practical and theoretical chops as a pianist/composer with a most modern and perceptive ear for stretching out the orbit of millennial electronic music constructs.

MYTTYS (fin)
Helsinki based duo of Heta Bilaletdin (of Olympia Splendid) and Samuli Tanner have over the last few years crafted a unique sound, culminating in their cassette release "Sloggilukio". This album throws a multitude of influences together, going deep into sonic exploration and songwriting. Equally drawing inspiration from the freakform finnish psychedelic scene, radiophonic music and hip hop sampling techniques, Myttys build their own universe out of sloow beats, raps and sound collage carpets. First Antwerp show!

OVAL ANGLE (nl)
music and sound-project by Geran Knol. He so far released two tapes, “Conversation With A Table” in 2013 on Jordskred and “Talk of Sculptures” in 2015 on Look Back And Laugh. He is currently working on his third album. His music, much like his visual work, has a naive approach and is often melodic.

BRIAN MCKENNA (can)
a Canadian visual and sound artist based in Amsterdam. His work evolves around DIY electronics and a vision magnifying the interconnectivity between video and audio signals. Performing on homemade audiovisual synthesizers, McKenna has been exploring animated colour field improvisations for years now. At the festival he presents a new work, bringing RGB monitors to life as a light organ.

PHIL & BODO (be)
Modular synth brothers Van Wolputte and Peeters act as a duo for an exclusive performance in a criss-cross cable entangling situation. We know these two for their obsession with microscopic soldered sound units, tiled together in boxes and patched for fluid sound journeys. Philippe is also a visual artist hijacking abandoned buildings as exhibition spaces, Bodo a skilled operator of printing machines. A collaboration of which the multi-timbral outcome can only be guessed!

PETER STRICKMANN (de)
an artist performing, installing and manipulating sounding activity in public and domestic environments. By making use of simple and sparse means I am generally aiming for a joint sounding- and listening-practice, oscillating between action and perception, focusing on the vibrant “Ding” and its social, acoustic and theatrical feedback. While collaborating with various improvising musical groups or noise-makers and exhibiting in a variety of contexts I observe the potency of sound/soundmaking and the habits of listening in diverse routine- or extraordinary settings.

FLORIS VANHOOF (be)
combines homemade musical circuits with abandoned projection technologies for audiovisual installations, expanded cinema performances and music releases. Translating the one medium to the other to find how our perception operates and which new perspectives appear. Vanhoof moves freely and frequently between artforms.
As Dick Higgins wrote in his Intermedia statement "Composing for all the media and for his world”, he will present a new piece for 4 overlapping 16mm film loops and 8 electronic sound filters.
