WELKOM

Het Bos zet de deuren zes dagen lang open voor een pleiade aan de meest uiteenlopende expressievormen: visual art, food, fashion, music, performance, video en meer! Tijdens dit multidisciplinaire festival tonen meer dan 40 jonge Bosacademie-residenten nieuw werk.

Alle activiteiten zijn gratis te bezoeken. Voor de performances in de Theaterzaal kan je vanaf 16h00 op de dag zelf een gratis ticket ophalen aan het onthaal in Het Bos. Alle live activiteiten duren maximaal 40 min.

Bosacademie is een project van Het Bos gesteund door Vlaanderen, Stad Antwerpen, district Antwerpen, de spelers van De Nationale Loterij, Amplo, Breedbeeld, Opendoek, en de Theatermaker. Bedankt!

DE NATIONALE LOTERIJ X BOSACADEMIE

Het Bos en de Nationale Loterij bevorderen samen de creativiteit en innovatie in de Belgische cultuursector. Bosacademie kan genieten van financiële steun dankzij de spelers van de Nationale Loterij, die in talloze culturele en maatschappelijke projecten investeren. Beide instellingen zetten zich in om jong, Belgisch en creatief talent een platform te bieden, hun talenten te ontwikkelen en de culturele diversiteit in ons land te vieren.

Koop een Bosacademie steunkaart

Steun de toekomstige Bosacademie residenten door een steunkaart van 5 of 10 euro aan te kopen aan het onthaal tijdens het Vruchtbare Grond festival of hier op het wereldwijde web. De opbrengst wordt integraal in de ontwikkeling van Bosacademie residenten gestoken.

How do we become adults today? What does it mean to grow up? What are we supposed to do now?
Six bodies wander through a gray zone where certainty remains just out of reach. They celebrate, transform, almost dance, build barricades into forts, multitask, are birthed, die, and begin again.
In a world where puppetry and play coexist, they search for ways of becoming.
Bathed in a purple glow, tentacles weave through their shared struggle to leave the gray zone behind, holding up whatever is on the verge of falling.
But perhaps falling, too, is part of becoming.

Bosnymph is a band that stands for the journey of sound, the beauty of words and the rawness of emotions. During their residency at Het Bos, the band members have found each other in the authentic expression of music, the ability to create the story of a song, the openness of being yourself behind your instrument. Social anxiety, violence and the complexity of love are one of the many themes that occur in the content of the music. With changing rhythmical patterns, soothing melodies and a small but fiery lead singer, they love to create the magic that happens on a stage.
