THE WAVE PICTURES + PRUIKDUIF
THE WAVE PICTURES (vk)
Kregen grote held Billy Childish zover om niet enkel hun nieuwe plaat "'Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon'" te produceren maar de man schreef ook mee aan de nummers. Wave Pictures omschrijven zichzelf graag als "The Modern Lovers with Rory Gallagher on lead guitar.”
"Having worked With Daniel Johnston and The Mountain Goats already shows that The Wave Pictures have a knack for writing high-quality songs with strangely ridiculous yet sublime lyrics. Their brooding, folkie pop songs are dished with sharp melodies and a voice that reminisces an off-pitched Morrisey having a happy day."

PRUIKDUIF
