THE ARTIST’S DUTY (talk)

Een salongesprek tussen Afro-Belgische kunstenaars uit verschillende kunstdisciplines zoals. film, woordkunst/drama, fotografie, schilderkunst en dans. Ze buigen zich over volgende legendarische uitspraken van Nina Simone ‘The duty of an artist is to reflect the times’ en ‘How can you be an artist and not reflect the times?’.
Dit event kadert zich binnen Black History Month dat in maart 2019 plaatsvindt in Antwerpen met als overkoepelend thema: Zwarte Kunst: de weg naar de bevrijding.
